In case you missed today’s show, you can find helpful links and information below.

Health Insurance for Kids

Many families that have had to adjust to lower incomes or job losses are struggling to afford health insurance for their children, but there is help available:

Pennsylvania Residents- www.chipcoverspakids.com

New Jersey Residents- www.njfamilycare.org

Delaware Residents- www.dhss.delaware.gov

Health Care for the Uninsured

HealthLink Medical Center offers primary care and dental services to uninsured, working adult residents of Bucks and Montgomery Counties. For more information and eligibility requirements, visit their website.

The Clinic, in Phoenixville, PA offers medical care for those who are uninsured and under-insured, and the cost of a visit is dependent on what you can afford- so if you can only afford to pay a dollar, that’s what you’ll pay. Although the Clinic used to serve a vast region, the current economic situation has forced them to limit care to residents in areas surrounding the Phoenixville and Paoli Hospitals. For more information, visit their website.

Website We Love

Check out www.pparx.org- The Partnership for Prescription Assistance helps eligible patients, without prescription drug coverage, to get the medicines they need through a program that is right for them. They’ve helped millions of people get low-cost or free prescription medications. Visit their website or call 1-888-477-2669 to see if you’re eligible.
