There’s no question that charities are taking a hard hit in this economy. IMPACT100 Philadelphia is the union of more than 100 women who each donated $1000.00, coming together to support nonprofit charities in the Greater Philadelphia Region. They received many proposals from charities in our area and after carefully reviewing them, narrowed it down to 5 charities. On June 1st, after listening to each of the finalists’ presentations, the Philadelphia Committee to End Homelessness was chosen to receive the $111,000 grant, which will be used to fund their SafeHome Philadelphia Project.
