Struggling residents of New Jersey and Pennsylvania scheduled to run out of jobless benefits at the end of this month, could get some relief if new economic legislation is passed this week. The proposed measure would provide an additional 13 weeks of extended jobless benefits for more than 300,000 unemployed people living in states with unemployment rates 8.5% and higher.
