Attention music lovers! If you’ve been holding out for a new iPod, your time may have come. Reports say that technology giant Apple (AAPL) may introduce a new line of iPods at an event on Sept. 1.
In recent years, Apple has used September events to unveil a new iPod in time for the holiday spending spree, Reuters reported. It frequently showcases new features for its iTunes online media store in September as well.

Apple’s product releases are cyclical. After the iPod it will be and improvement to the Mac Book. The iMac and Mac Mini just got their upgrades as did the iPhone (the iPods follow the iPhone to release new iPod Touch models). The article mentioned Mac TV. I’m not sure Apple will do anything with Mac TV. Now if I had a job I could upgrade my iPod Touch to the new model.
